So here is how I set this puppy up. Previously I had 2 80GB Western Digital hard drives and 1 250GB Seagate drive. So I installed my operating system on the 120GB solid state drive, during the install I moved the User profile and program data directories over to my E: drive which consists of the 2 80GB drives striped together, and then I set up my 250GB drive as a backup for all of it (obviously not everything is backed up 120+80+80=280 not 250). My boot time is now under 15 seconds. I will post a video later to show how fast that boot really is. Loading screens on my games take only seconds because any programs that I install are installed to the solid state drive. Posted with this is a picture of the machine.
As you can see it is actually pretty clean inside the computer. That is part of the reason why I bought the Corsair 400R case. It makes putting a PC together super easy, and makes it super clean inside. Hope you all have enjoyed this computer moment with me.
Now on to life. Something funny happened the other day while I was at work. My sweet wife made me a one of my favorite kinds of sandwiches, a PB&J sandwich (yeah, I'm a pretty simple guy when it comes to food). I was looking forward to eating that sandwich, so I did like I do whenever I eat meals. I save my favorite part for the end.
